I think we should add natural disasters such as tornadoes, storms and other ones so it can effect the strategy for us.For example:If an enemy wanted to attack my infantry on plain terrain, they can't win because of a storm had blown over the terrain, making it hard to move vehicles because of mud.

This should be implemented, it would make the game more realistic.

I don't like the idea. It wouldn't bring too much of a benefit because you can't control it and it would have to be localised so it wouldn't be relevant unless you have only one army or just a few provinces. So, in general, it would bring in some random events which would be flavour only, withour real game improving effect, which means that it probably isn't worth implementing.

Sounds cool to me, it's realistic. Weather effects terrain in real life so why not in the game?

Other scripted events could occur as well. Such as a surplus or earthquake random AI joining player in shared map and DoWing his enemies or randomly attacking him. Would add flavor to the individual round.

This is a bad idea, you never have random effects be deciding factors in strategy games.

I don't like it, how many hurricanes did you see in Europe in the 40's?

Well, I tornados and all the rest, they really are not needed in a strategy game, a war isnt based upon hurricanes,
maybe adding rain, to slow down units but I still think other things can be done, that are a better use of resources

Yeah, but only in recent years because of global warming. We had one in Ireland recently. Just it wasn't a big twisty one like in the US.

So why the hell did you say it should be put in and would make the game more realistic?

The stations would be something that would change the dynamics of the game.

If you add natural disasters, stations should be added.
