You don't seem to understand. The only reasonable counter to naval bombers are cruisers, which most players don't produce large amounts of. Cruisers are more expensive, slower (of course) and take longer to unlock and produce. Their anti air damage potential is also less than ground anti air units of the corresponding level. Of course, you could stack interceptors on aircraft carriers, but most players don't even build carriers. These factors make it so naval bombers are too powerful than they should be. I would recommend decreasing their attack potential against naval units and/or increasing their research and production costs.
Nah, naval bombers are just fine. Also you said that aircraft caries are not used by most players ? My curent server is FULL of them. Cruisers--in PAN-ASIAN at least--are from day 1 and they get produced in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
So i dont think we need any change in naval bombers , they are just fine.
Rather, I think naval bomber is too weak.
The Battlecruiser Repulse was sunk and bottomed by an attack by 8 aircraft of η½δΊ Squadron, ηΎεΉ Air Squadron (equipping with bombs), 16 aircraft of Kurosan Land Attack Squadron of ε ε±± Air Squadron (equipping with torpedo), and 8 aircraft of 4th Squadron of Bihoro Air Squadron (equipping with torpedo).
In the extreme, if the enemy is a large ship sailing alone, no wonder 3 Squadron of torpedo bomber can kill 1 Battlecruiser.
Maybe if the devs give cruisers and battleships range radius against aircraft like they did with anti air units. That might help improve the naval ships firepower against naval bombers.

However, in reality the range of artillery should increase with level, not the means of transport.
A 155mm Howitzer has the same range advantage over a 105mm, whether towed or SP.
