Actually I have to disprove of statement 1 Germany Anschlussed the Austrians and the Austrians agreed thus it became a state of Germany. Later not long after Germany annexed the northern state of Chezslovakia which also made it a state of Germany. They accepted statehood
Nerf 1939 Historic World War Germany
- Like Albania is to Italy, the provinces that belong to Austria and Czechoslovakia should be noncore provinces as they were invaded by Germany. The country provinces are already marked out on the map so why make them core provinces but make Albania, or Ethiopia, or Japanese islands in the pacific noncore provinces.
- Make Germany have few Medium tanks and less tank research at the beginning of the game. In 1939 Germany had mostly light tanks and few medium tanks in there arsenal. German should start out with 1 or 2 level 1 medium tanks and more level 3 light tanks. And get rid of the tank destroyer on the French border. I know its a small thing but they didn't have tank destroyers in 1939.
- Get rid of Germany's motorized infantry and there research for it at the beginning of the game as they did not come into play until 1943
- I just want thing to be more historical because in 1939 Germany was not strong

1. Do have to partially agree with you, it is a bit much. But it should only be the Czech region that should have that penalty. As mentioned by the other guy, Austria was annexed by Germany and became part of the state of Germany, with essentially no resistance. Czechoslovakia was invaded shortly after the Munich peace conference.Snifflyfawn04 wrote:

2. You would actually be wrong there. Germany had plenty of medium tanks at the start of the war(the Panzer III technically is a medium tank, though more of a light tank in hindsight). The Panzer IV was one of the more popular tanks, due to the short 75mm howitzer that could be used to support infantry. And there was TD's in the German armed forces, though at the time they were less tank destroyers and more like SPG's.
Historically, the French army had better tanks in 1939-40 than the Germans did. The problem, of course, was the French were either unable or unwilling to use their tanks properly in combat, and lacked the offensive armor doctrine of the Germans (the Americans were working on similar doctrine, but had virtually no tanks). British tanks were awful in 1939-40; the irony is the British invented the modern motorized tank in WW1, but completely lost their technological edge between the wars.Snifflyfawn04 wrote:
