Well what are the alternatives for free and especially mobile (or mobile accessible) games these days? The whole thing is a mess, requires some way of making money to survive, and this game is better quality than most. Mobile games could definitely be way better, but that’s capitalism for you…

I don't see a problem with this. Personally I don't spend gold, but how dare these other people spend their money how they want too. How else do you think the developers get paid? Be lucky this game is as good as it is while still being free.
