New Map Idea; 1942 Europe in danger
The game is awesome and has a plenty of maps, but something is missing...
1942 was the year of the Germany's greatest extent and the year of some of the most important battles of WWII, so, the game needs a map of 1942.
A lot of new countries would come in this map. In this map, USSR can be united as one country and not separated like the other maps.
- Background
So, in this map the countries will be different. Of course, it will have some classic countries like Germany, Italy, UK, Turkey, Sweden, Spain, Albania, Ukraine, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria and Finland. Some others will have changed doctrine like Greece, France (based on Vichy France), and Norway. These countries will have axis doctrine instead of allies. Also, I suggest to add some new countries for this map like Moravia & Bohemia, Slovakia, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Lokot Republic/Autonomy, Byelorussia and Ostland/Baltic States, and of course, Hungary
- All these new countries will have the axis doctrine. Their size will be based on their historical size during the period of 1942. Some of these countries were puppet states of Germany and that's why they are not shown separately in historic maps. But, in this game, countries cannot start with a lot of provinces. So, this will be a historic map with enough countries to play, and I understand if some of them are not introduced into the map or are not available to play with them. I hope you will find this idea interesting.

Soviet docterine will stay comintern. And I suggest Egypt as it's own nation as it was independent. All neutral nations during the war will remain AI.

And in my opinion is better the option of choose between continue the war with the allies to lately go to America or begin with the Barbarossa Opeartion. Because it gives the Principal Power a real opportunity to rewrite the 1940 onwards.
If you put the 1942 scenario, it's forcing the players who play with Russia and Germany to open a direct conflict since the beggining and to move the resource to that direction. IMHO, but if this idea is aproved I guaranteed play it.

To clarify, the games full name is only "Call of War". 1942 was used in the old logo that got scrapped. Our new logo has the new subtitle "world war 2", and also our appstore names might have different descriptors, but still the trademark is basically "Call of War".whowh wrote:

New maps take usually a lot of time to make and right now we don't have too much dedicated resources for it. But perhaps some day in the future.

I was wondering why it vanished. I just remembered the subtitle.
But still......
....Remember the map for when you do have the resources.....
