Just some Map ideas:
Historic World War 1942
Good for a map where Axis victory is very real. Whoever gets germany is a powerhouse, but countries like USA, UK, Free France, USSR and China are still strong. Pacific theatre would be interesting
Historic War in Europe 1944
the game is pretty equal at this point.
Cold War
Because no one can agree on a set date, a mash-up of the early cold war (1947-1962). It would involve all of the following interesting things:
- Occupied Germany and Berlin Wall
- Chinese Civil War
- Korean War
-Vietnam War
- Invasion of Hungary
- Decolonisation (territories split)
- Malayan emergency
- Suez Canal crisis
Very cool map.
Returning the English Channel and Mediterranean Map, they had many flaws that would need to be fixed (militia spam) and they took up servers, so maybe eas an event, or to be held within alliances, ways to counter this could fewer cities in the Mediterranean, or militia can't conquer territory.
I would like to see them all added but I added a pole to see the most popular.
cold war map yes two teams of NATO and USSR if America or Soviet Union goes AI, players can choose who to vote to be the new ones. Plus some call of war units r already Cold War. Eg. Blueprint medium tank axis is Leopard 1
I think a small map that includes countries with the Pan Asian doctrine would be preferred. Many players start on the 22 player map and learn to play the game that way. Plus if a map with a similar number of playable countries were included, it could be used for AvA games and otherwise be available for unrated games that players can create on demand.
A good H2H map would be really cool. The English channel one wasn't very good because land war (the stand-out feature of this game) was underrated; by the time anyone made it across, the game was basically already finished.
It would be cool if the players were separated by AI, so it wouldn't be all-out war from day 1. A German-Soviet map might work, where places like Poland, Baltic states, Sweden etc were still neutral?
