Could we have a draft?
Maybe with paint?
My idea for a new map would be to have a Pacific map, which would include the US-controlled Philippianss, Communist, and National China, Japan, Thailand, French Indochina, Manchuria, Siberia, maybe Australia, Borneo, New Guinea.

This is the most accurate depiction of the map I'm imagining.
I think this map is not good balanced in this way, there is to much boring water on the left side. If we want a map in this region it can be smaller in scale. What did you think about this one:

Maybe it can be a little more from Australia on this map, but I think it will be a great island hopping.
Perfect, like a Pacific Med map. Lots of troops into a small space= lots of action.Xarus wrote:

That looks good as well, but maybe combine the two?
A lot of island hoping, at least on the south-east, I could see a lot of people imitating D-day here in all those islands especially in the Philippines, if of course someone ought to go defensive and build a big navy.
If you want to represent the Second World War Japan should appear , right?
Japan is on the first one, I agree.Velorum wrote:

True, quite true, but that original map has too much free ocean on the right, and has too much land on the left. Let me crop it some.
That's good, but ad in the northern tip of Australia in the south.
If there going to add from Japan to Australia and avoid too much free ocean the map might look vertical or too compress.
To fix the open ocean maybe you can include the west coast of USA,Canada and Alaska.
then it will add even more water and less land on the left side of the map. i was thinking of having a more smaller map of east-asia and south east-asia and leave australia out. that way we have a more smaller map, plenty of land in the asian mainland and less water.
