New naval unit:Q-ships.

During WW1 the Royal Navy invented a new ship to defend it's merchant vessels against Kaiserlaiche U-boats. The Q-Ship. It is basically a merchant ships filled with buoyant cargo to help it float if it was torpedoed. It was also armed with concealable artillery guns to sink the U-boat once one was spotted. They were then used early ww2 once Hitler invaded Poland. Here is a link if anyone is interested.

I'm not very good at the values of the ship but I guess it could have more health than a convoy but less than a cruiser/maybe destroyer. The ship would have a high attack value against Subs but not warships and a marginal ability to take on aircraft, since most merchant vessels had AA guns.

Won't a side upgrade for all ships and boats that let us have torpedo bulges be better?

But people would probably moan that it is still crap, folks like something they know works and was developed to do something. I certainly do.

I prefer bulges on all my ships rather than tougher convoys.

The Kaiserlaiche? What on earth do you mean?

Oh, sorry, the problem was the "A" ;) It is die Kaiserliche, not Kaiserlaiche, that is why I didn't understand

Cuz Kaiserleiche (with and e) would mean "Dead body of the imperor" which wouldn't make much sense either, but Kaiserlaiche wouldn't mean anything at all

Also the "educate yourself" and the "fool" isn't necessary in my opinion.

If your German I'm sure you could put two and two together.

Oh well I am SORRY, SIR! My god, making such a big thing out of nothing... Anyway, I am outta here.

with all this "little" things getting suggested a side upgrade for ALL units is a good idea, the problem is the research ques

It's funny because you made a big thing out of it.

It's an interesting concept. I'm not sure how they would be fit into the game though; creating a specific unit for them may be difficult. Also, since these ships were used to protect "cargo" convoys primarily, the idea of including them would really only make sense if we also had "trade ships". I can't say that that would work too well in this game.
