From what I know, rocket int are currently more or less useless. So, after @TankBuster brought up this problem, I propose we make the rocket int able to intercept rockets, both nuclear and non-nuclear. This would make them very useful as no other unit could do this. It is also good because you cannot cover a large area with the rocket int, making them harder to put over every province.

Interesting idea.

Nope, that was a key feature of the RINT to make sure it does not become OP against rockets.

Awww, man!
The past is a foreign country.

Yeah, well, at least you can shoot down missiles though, right? Even if you can barely fly from province to province in France....

Missiles do have to be trucked to go from A to B though and have no defensive capabilities so I think it is fair enough anyways.

Anything to stop nuclear rockets, its the first unit I've never been able to stop

I like the idea very much, but it should work a little different.
The problem with your suggestion is that the rocket interceptors will be useless if a player is not online, or just not very active. Thus the introduction of it will tip the balance of the game even more towards activity and micromanaging, making only teenagers and jobless bums rip the benefits of it.
I think a better idea would be an improvement in the building browser of the province such as Anti-missile defense system, and it should be available some days after the missiles are introduced, same with nuclear missiles ( an upgrade of AMDS ).
It should be pretty expensive to build and only have around 50% success rate, so the rockets will still remain effective, but players will think twice before wasting them on the provinces with AMDS

Just put the RINT on patrol.

Yeah, we have a patrol feature for a reason. In one game, I kept RINT on patrol 12hours a day, and then swapped them out for another for a further 12hours.
