Indeed I would find that there is more economical research, let me explain:

We would need a new research tab where we could, for example, search for improvements in the effect of industries (105% instead of 100%, etc.) or even a BTP research which accelerates the speed of production, or even search for a study method. which would speed up research time... This is applicable with many things: improvement of engines: all motorized troops go a little faster, better logistics management, maintenance costs are lower...
