New Skins ?

As any call of war player would know is that there are 4 skins American,German,Japanese and Soviet Union I know that the skins for some countries are the same and not accurate skins to there countries but the pictures mostly are. I would like to have new skins as a British skin since they didn't use all american equipment and made significant amounts of there own with some american equipment and Im pretty sure they used the sherman alot so you can keep the sherman tank if you want. Also what about a French and Italian Skins ? I know the French near the end of the war had mostly had american equipment but since its war game its not to be 100% accurate. Also what about the Italians they made there own equipment even though it wasnt very good and there heavy tanks are rare but we have japans heavy tanks as panzers? So why not, I dont think these are absolutely necessary but I think it would be a nice addition to call of war I also made this with only one focus since the last time I suggested new skins everyone focused on something else I wrote

I think that it would make the game more realistic yes, like why does Persia, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria all have German tanks its a little wierd

Because there are only four skin sets in the entire game: German, Soviet, combined American/British, and Japanese.

There is a shared set of naval unit skins that cut across national lines: U.S. Fletcher-class destroyer, Italian Zara-class cruiser, German Bismarck-class battleship, U.S. Midway-class aircraft carrier, and a U.S. Iowa-class battleship to represent the nuclear battleship, and a Soviet Kiev-class aircraft carrier/cruiser to represent the nuclear aircraft carrier. Given their small size and limited level of detail, it is impossible to tell what (if any) specific class the submarine icons are supposed to represent. Notably absent is any representative of the Royal Navy, which was the largest navy in the world in 1940.

Several of the nation-specific ground unit icons are also shared by all: notably, German self-propelled artillery, German self-propelled anti-aircraft, and a German halftrack for mechanized infantry.

If and when a new set of skins is added to the game, the first priority should be a separate skin set for the British army, including the Commonwealth/Empire countries who invariably shared a very similar, if not identical battledress uniform and equipment. More British and Commonwealth/Empire troops served in World War II than either Germans or Japanese, and British uniforms and equipment were used by the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa, as well as empire troops from India, Palestine and other British colonial possessions.

A completely separate (or nearly so) set of skins could then be used for the United States and the Philippines, as well as France, which was mostly equipped with American uniforms and arms after 1943. I believe the Brazilians serving the Italian campaign also used American battledress and equipment, too.

Obviously, we are never going to have a historically accurate skin set for every country on the board, but we could resolve a lot of issues by creating a separate British skin set, and using them for all of the British Commonwealth and Empire countries, and then judiciously spreading the other skin sets among the countries most closely associated with them. It is beyond goofy to have New Zealand, for example, using Wehrmacht battle dress and equipment. If I were a Kiwi player, I would be rather annoyed at seeing my army inappropriately dressed in German uniforms and using iconic German equipment. I would hope that our friends in Hamburg would be a little more sensitive to these issues.
