New unit possibility

Coastal defense subs. Subs that do not have ocean going range so would only be able to move 1 dot away from its border. Obviously only good for defense but a fallback for players that want to defend their coastline but don't want to invest in a fleet in being. Thoughts?

Hm... i hope its not very powerful and easily spammable because it will be very powerful when you create a naval blockade with that thing.

It would be strong enough to defend against transports but no match for normal surface warships, or regular subs.

I think it’s a good unit, but it’s a sub...so other naval units can’t see it unless they are fighting? Also what do you think the production costs and time should be?

Production cost 75% of a sub cost, production time as well. Just musings though.

I think it should be a bit less, because if it is 75% I would just produce normal subs, at least they can move around and sink other naval units.
