I think a air transport plane would be cool but later in game since in WW2 late in the war Germany was making transport planes also marines would be cool since naval invasions would be more complicated

How about Battlecrusiers? They would be perfect, not for all maps though, they would have the speed of a cruiser and the firepower if a battleship, with balancing of course. And what if you can load troops onto a carrier and be able to do amphibious landings without leaving your transport ships vulnerable.

i think air transport would be a waste if we did have options for new units to be introduced. Plus air transport was not used heavily in WW2 for anything except transporting scout vehicles and infantry aka paratroopers.
I once recommended a mobile rocket launcher like the katyusha mobile rocket launchers the Soviets used.
Patently false but your point still remains that they would be unused in this game. The troop ships for example, I rarely ever research them. Maybe if there was a Pacific map I would but until then I have better things to spend RM on.Peachez wrote:

As for actual use of transport planes in WWII I recommend you educate yourself haha, there is a lot to learn. They played a major part in logistics. Ships and trucks aren't much good when you are trying to resupply troops in the middle of Burma haha.
I very often research troops transports in on the 100 player maps. It has plenty of advantage, but the one key element is that Tripp’s are most vulnerable when in a convoy so anything that reduces that I pay.
I usually do the research mid game of course, in the beginning I have more pressing research to do.
Yeah I imagine it would be much more useful on the world map, but I rarely play that map so it is not too useful otherwise. For instance my last match was on 50 player American map, not much good unless you're Cuba or one of the states in South America lol.
