These guys would have a high attack power against armored vehicles, they would not be very good against regular infantry. They would also be very good in Urban, Forest, and mountain regions, due to the fact that they could use the buildings, trees, and the higher ground to fight the tanks. Mixed with regular infantry and other tanks, it would be almost unstoppable.
[/quote]These legitimately already exist.
They are called "anti-tank"
Not to be confused with Tank destroyer
For these, the marines one is a decent idea.JCS Darragh wrote:
Conscripts:They are forced into military service, they would have stats in the middle of Militia and Infantry, they would have a low morale (due to being forced into military service) and would have a semi decent attack power. They would be best in plains and urban provinces. They would be cheap to produce and maintain, you wouldn't need an industrial facility to make them, but you would need a barracks.
Marines:
Oorah! Devil Dogs! These guys are NEEDED due to the fact we now have a pacific theater, they would be best utilized in island attacks, they would be regular infantry, but would not be in the convoy ships. They would have their own landing craft that they would use.
Local Resistance:
Just civilians that decided to pick up arms and fight, they would only have good strength in their home country, and you CANNOT produce them. They would have a medium morale and would also have a low health, they wouldn't really be used in large offensives, but if you have enough of them, they could win.
It somewhat fit under the PT boat idea. The rest would be useless considering "Local Resistance and Conscripts" could already serve the job of Militia.
But, that's just my opinion.
