New units, wich benefit Player Level
I would glad try some kind of elite/officer units (or officer), wich are benefit players level.
This unit could be deplayed as extra start unit or instead of one default start unit.
This unit could be RPG kind developed with choiced skills each upgrade level. 1%10 more speed here, 2% more power there, some % more HP another upgrade.
Also new players start with militia elite unit. wich can be upgraded each promoted rank.
After some ranks you get infantry, after some ranks, AC and so on.
So experienced players could have plenty of elite units.
For fair ballance issue you can deploy only one elite units each day, every units only once in same round. dead is dead.
I would say it should be auto deploying by weakest elite units at day one forward to most strong elite units at the end.
Since elite unit would be 5% (at lvl1) till 20% (at max lvl) stronger then same not elite unit it would be not very great imballance between new and experienced players.
For former fair ballance i suggest to remove gold heal possibility for this units. Because this units already should be buyeble and upgadeble with gold and money. So players already should invest something for game to get max developed toy, wich has not overmelming edges. Like some upgrades get every player for rank points, some upgrades for gold (even for free gold), some upgrades only for real money.
Every death of officer unit could be penaltizided with 5% moral debuff once.
Furthermore i suggest "marshal unit" wich is direkt reward of ranking.
You could deploy your "marshal unit" only once per round, this unit start at lvl 1 and should be autopromoted /max once a day) for each taken enemy capitol, or every killed hostile marshl units.
Death of marshal should be penaltizided with 10% till 30% (depended of rank) moral once.
Marshal units should get healrate of province moral only. This make them best usable for defence, but less usable far of home provinces, respectively player would forced to use gold for province moral to get max heal rate for marshal. Direkt gold heal should be rmoved for this unit else.
Marshal units should have merchandizing realm like skins, some extra over ranked upgrade points etc.
Ballance between higlevel player with real money full developed elite units and marshals and new players (lvl 1) without developed units should not beat 25% (for players level 211+) power difference on day 1.
Players level 50 til 150 should have edges between 5% till may be 15% over level 1 players on day 1.
