This actually raises an interesting point. If my opponent sends a giant stack into my territory and I defensively open fire with artillery or send some planes, I don't like that I'm the one taking the reputation hit for "starting a war"CD-Rav wrote:

You wouldn't because the opponent is the one committing an act of war first.jubjub bird wrote:

This is a feature that I think most people would like to see in the game. Here's a poll:CD-Rav wrote:

Is it? The US violated airspace several, if not hundreds, maybe even thousands of times with the SR-71. They got caught over Sweden. It took a while for radar to become developed enough to detect them, and during that time, they frequently did recon over the USSR. War was never declared.CD-Rav wrote:

Excellent Point -
I had briefly considered this - but not in the detail this thread espouses.
Crossing a border - unless you have ROW / Share status should trigger a War notice.

It could be. Breaching airspace is just like a threat for example on China-Taiwan tension,l when China breached airspace of Taiwan. Of course Taiwan will make a move like preparing for air defense system, because they know they are threaten. Nobody wants war, but breaching airspace is an act of war.Donk2.0 wrote:
