news notifications
It would be cool if there was some kind of toggle, like a checkbox, on each of the 5 categories in the news that would allow you to see a notification, like when someone posts an article. It would be especially useful with "Myself" or "Enemies & Allies" so one can better monitor the news. Sorry if this has already been suggested, but I don't recall seeing it.

It would also be nice to be able to turn off notifications when articles written by players are posted as well.
Unfortunately with the demise of In-Game chat channel it seems that a lot of trash talk is cluttering up the newspaper.

Well you wouldn't get notified by everything unless you selected that. You could turn all notifications off, but I would probably always leave "Myself" notifications on.injinji wrote:
