Newspaper Casualties

Have you ever been in a war, and haven't had a recent Casualty update for your war in the World Herald? Well I think that there needs to be a Casualty info button when writing an article in the World Herald. This way we can see how our wars are going casualty wise.

Also, I think that the Game chat in Lower Left Corner needs to be enlarged, people have been using the World Herald as the Games chat, I believe the World Herald is to be formal. Maybe move the Games chat into a sidebar from the News, this way the World Herald isn't being misused as the Game Chat.

Also I think there needs to be a way you can name major battles, or nickname. This would make CoW more creative and more realistic. Think of D-Day and How it got nicknamed like that.

You can do a search for any nation (even check yourself) for casualty reports.

The chat window is resizable. Make it as large as you would like.

D-Day and H-Hour are not names of battles. The terms are not even specific to a particular war, but that's beside the point. The point is, you can name the battles. Just name them. Write it down, tell your friends. Write a newspaper article.

The last thing I want is another pop up that wants me to name every battle. I have hundreds of battles every match.

The game asking me to name battleships and railroad guns is annoying as all hell already.

A new casualty post is sent maybe once everyday if you are in an active war (meaning you are fighting). However, your casualty actually updates on the original post. It would put in your recent wins/losses in there which shows you your most up to date casualty report... much more accurately than if a war was to happen in real life.

If battle names are system generated... like the Sino-Japanese War, 2nd Battle of Tokyo etc. would be an interesting thing. But naming them individually, like @JTRoulin said wouldn't really be necessary.

What I meant, is when we are writing an article ourselves, have an "Include Casualties" button, I think that this would keep us even more updated.

Along with the Naming battles, at every day-change, take the largest battle, or the most important one. And have set names for it. Like D-Day for day 13, or Battle of blablabla or whatever. We dont name the battles, now i understand that this may be to complicated, but then again it is just an idea.

Now the Chat window, forgive my noobness, but I didn't realize that the window is Re-sizable, however, I do still believe that World Herald is often misused for Game Chat.

I find the naming Battleships, Nukes, and Railroad Guns as a sweet entry to the game, however I think that the names need to be more publisized, it seems as if I name it, and I never get to see the name ever again, i may see it if it kills something or dies in News but thats it.
