wait are you for censoring diplomacy or no? If this vote is to decide censorship in diplomacy tab I vote no. Since its private chat. And also I have many times seen censorship in the chat even when Im not swearing and I dont want that to happen even more.

I'm for

Why would you want that?

I personally am in favor of it. Even if it's never added, remember that you can always report content by submitting a ticket.

I personally think censoring words can be a toggleable thing (kinda like in Among Us). Often there can be misunderstandings due to the censoring of a certain word. Four letter words are especially dangerous due to the wide range of words it can present, some not very nice, others outright offending.

"As long as there are sovereign nations possessing great power, war is inevitable." Albert Einstein
"Giving up is not an option in war, for it proves one's incapability and incompetence as a leader." - Me (Little Racoon)

I personally think a "mute player" button would be a more effective (and less oppressive) option.

I agree with doc

I dont disagree with Doc. I do know a thing or 2 about chat filters, such as they can be bypassed. A "Mute Player" button in diplomacy puts all the nonsense to rest.

They have the mute button in CoN, and it works fairly well. Im expecting this feature to be the fix for the issue presented in this thread.

Yes, a mute button would fix many issues, even some that censors would not, like insults.
