In the last week or so, I have noticed a very arrogant and unfriendly attitude from staff. I would like to remind those members that are so smug with their attitudes that we are the customers that pay their bills. You guys might want to lighten up and quit taking so much enjoyment from alienating your customers. I feel you guys are taking advantage of your positions to censor and ban members, whenever you dont like their opinion. The air of the forum and chat has definitely taken on an oppressive feel. If it was allowed, I might even call it nostalgic of a certain fascist regime that was in power from 1933 to 1945. NOT HAPPY...

I acknowledge your concern, and as we try to be friendly with users in every aspect, i would like to remind you that freedom of speech does not apply here. This is a service and you agreed to its terms during registration. You are not forced to use the forums or chat if you don't agree. Many users have shared opinions that broke rules thus we have VOLUNTEER game staff that moderate chat and the forum to keep the chat and forums friendly for all users.

This is what i mean through Freedom Of Speech. No we do not try to make the game heavy in anyway until users that violate rules force our hand. Trust me when i say this, we do what we can to make this game as fun as possible, but we still have rules to enforce. i wasnt punished. i didnt do anything to violate the terms of use. i am not bitter, or mad at anyone. I get along just fine with staff. i have no need of an appeal.
i do empathize with staff, btw. i read the posts on chat and the forum all the time. It seems a lot of people just want to go on there to aggravate staff, and i suppose it gets tiresome. I have read the inane, the insane, and the hate they spew out. It makes certain mods very quick to warn and ban. Levity has left the building, at times.

Firstly, if you have issues with anyone on the support team please contact me directly via CoW PM or Forum conversation and we can see what the issue is do not post in forum as it can lead to a staff denounce/insult thread 
Secondly, I will take this time to state that customers pay for the upkeep of the game and they do not pay anything towards the volunteer team (I state this as you have pointed out moderators), yes that's correct mods/GOs are volunteers to help the community and keep the services provided civil and polite and age appropriate.
No one takes advantage of been green in chat or forum our role and job is clear we enforce the rules that every player has agreed to when creating their accounts.

Thanks for noticing this, sometimes trolls and keyboard warriors have nothing else to do as they have all the time in the world as they lack a fully enjoyable life so vent online.
But all chat bans are done after warnings are given for light rule-breaks (spam, profanity/insults/etc.) However for heavy rule-breaks (Glorification of national Socialism, heavy trolling, racism, gold denounce, ignoring moderation team, etc.) We do not need to warn before we act but after we act post a reminder to chatters about rule-breaks.
Now to prevent this from escalating to blacklisting/insulting volunteers I will close the thread but always feel free to contact me directly.
