Nuke-powered bomber?

Is it possible to make a nuke powered bomber?

Pros: HUGE range, able to cross the pacific and the continental U.S in one flight

immense damage

high speed, second only to the rocket fighter

damages units and decreases morale when shot down over a province

non-expendable

Cons: Very Expensive, double that of the regular nuke bomber

very long production time

very slow transport speed on ground, slower than a railroad gun

relatively fragile compared to other bombers

long refuel times of 3 days

think it's fair?

any more suggestions on how to improve it?

feel free to reply

Were there any plans during WW2 to create a unit like this?

There we're early jets in the WW2 but i have no idea if they were planning to have nukes on them or not

No, thank you. No nuclear-powered bombers until 1958, but the project was cancelled.

The past is a foreign country.

If if we used a Nuke bomber in the same way we use the Muas tank (as in, it was real but never saw combat) what type of bomber would it be? Are we talking an upgraded Strat bomber, or an actual Nuclear Bomber

Don't know the 'Muas' tank, lol. By nuclear-powered bomber, I think he means this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convair_NB-36H

Do you mean the bunker on treads called the "Mighty Maus"?

either one would do

Likely that I spelt it wrong, but i'm up for a nuclear bomber, just wondering how it would fit in. I rarely see people use strat bombers anyway, unless their planning some grand 'anti-infrastructure blitz-deep battle' plan

strat bombers are handy for taking out airbases with potential rockets

or if u wanna go "scorched-earth"

I know how to use them, I just rarely see them being used. Rockets are a cheaper and safer version, but strat bombers do allow you ore freedom of movement and repeated attacks.
