last night I attacked a city with no buildings except for a level 3 air strip........ with a level 3 nuke bomber.....
the result: minor damage reducing the strip to level 2 and the planes carry on flying there.
I mean how ridiculous !!! That’s like in real life - a nuke attack on Heathrow, which disables terminal 2 whilst the rest carries on as normal or Frankfurt taking one and the trains to and from the airport suffer some delays...... 
Did you check newspaper? Damage distribution may happen between units and buildings.
anyways u shouldn't be using nukes, they do nothing really and are overpriced
use rockets.
The planes must have shot down your bomber.
I usually only use nukes when I have to. For example, if the enemy had a group of more than 30 units I might use the nuke. However, I find rockets and planes more effective than the nuke.
Once when i used a nuke it literally did no damage
Possibility it may be shot down. Personally, I'd use nuclear rockets instead of bombers. It's like a stepping stone imo.
I never use nuclear bombers.
nukes are the worst thing in the game
