Here are my observations, after a substantial monetary investment lol if you should want to hear them.
Now I am a veteran strategy games player. Games such as Panzer/88/Europe .. from the Japanese company in the mid 80s which I am sure this is based on.
That said.
Resources. After major investments in buildings, I am not convinced they produce enough vs investment.
Roads need to kick in something more than increased travel time.
Also if factories in non resource provinces do nothing why have that option available in non resource provinces?
Then .. 75% reduced production in non core provinces is a bit punishing. May I suggest it be based on distance from Capital? To a max of 75%?
Personally infrastructure and other buildings should play a dual role. I would love to see more units on the battlefield, but more players investing in buildings and such to boost their output. So even if one can build more units one would have to build more infrastructure and buildings. That is my take.
Also for aircraft carriers. As an option for planes (interceptors), maybe add an option of protect the fleet (which essentially make the interceptor airborne but always following the fleet) .. if this is clear enough.
While on the topic of planes. Not sure when units were able to do damage to planes without AA but it seems counter productive for say Infantry or Tanks to shoot at planes. The whole point of planes is to do damage without getting damaged from land units (other than AA). Ships of course is a whole other story and all types of ships had some AA incorporated into their defense, so them doing some damage makes sense. What say you all on this.
As for units. I am not crazy about this unlimited stacking. Ive seen stacks at 28 .. and 32s .. its a little excessive.
That should be limited.
Also, games like Civilization and or Humankind have units and or buildings that are unique to a certain country or team. May I suggest something similar where each nation has its own unique stuff?
And then gold. Maybe make it cost less to purchase gold, but limit gold per game? Reason I say this is that no game should allow me or anyone to spend 700$ in one game. I know you all make money, but I would still likely spend but on different games/ servers.
Also, make the AI's way more tough. Spread the technological advancement out a little more. And reduce the cost of nuclear arms. very very pricy ahaha
That is my observations for the week.
Oh I would add also a defense and or attack bonus for having a mixed army. Meaning .. a stack with mixed troop types. As in let say infantry, artillery, and cars and or armor and or anti air. etc.
