I joined a late World Map game earlier today and noticed something that may be new. The provinces that are occupied by another country are now almost obnoxiously labelled, and it now appears that the provinces are a separate country. I took a screenshot of three or four prime examples. Click here to see the provinces.

I think he means, the occupied territory color is really different than the core Provence color?

recently they made the striped lines in occupied territories much more noticable.... but after a while I got used to it and it doesn't bother me anymore

Those striped lines have always been there for non-core provinces...

like I already said, the striped lines became thicker and a darker shade of the main country colour
