On Commandos

So, I have been using Commandos extensively lately and I wanted to make a few suggestions that could be good.

Firstly, Commandos should be stealth units, moving slowly into enemy territory to do recon. They shouldn't be overpowered badbutt killing machines. Now, I would still like them to have an actual +100% bonus in Mountains. However, they should be able to insert into a country without having a war starting because they are commandos, now if you order them to attack then a war will start. They should also be able to operate like submarines, if they aren't fighting they are invisible to enemy stuff.

Second, Commandos shouldn't be able to replace infantry. They aren't big, huge, heavily armed infantry divisions with attached artillery and armor units. They should be able to take out Militia, Infantry, Armored Car, and Light Tanks. Commandos are too small to do any real damage, they are light, fast, and highly trained units, not heavily armed and battle hardened veterans like Infantry. If they don't have supporting infantry and armor, they are going to be taken out.

Third, Commandos should be ground recon units as that was their main function. They were very versatile units, but in CoW they should be primarily recon units. They should have a very large spotting range, gathering intelligence and reporting back with intelligence.

Anyway, that is my opinion, I had a better thread that I had typed out and the internet dropped out when I clicked submit and it was deleted, so rip I just angrily retyped it as best I could.
