Paratrooper Mobilization Time

12 hours is quite a bit of overkill to mobilize paratroopers. Historical ones would have been up and off to their objectives the moment they got untangled on the ground. It shouldn't take that long to mobilize them and they suck if your trying to drop them behind enemy lines and take a bunch of provinces to make your enemy panic.

Mobilization isnt just to get them going.

Paratroopers in WW2 after landing need to capture key points (roads, bridges, airstrips, military building etc. ). They need to be sure that province is captured and that they are ready to move on. That is mobilization time.

Ok well if parratroopers have to "make sure the province is captured" wouldnt all other units have to do the same thing? I definently agree that mobilization time is a bit excessive, and should be lowered, also i think parratroopers should also be able to land where ever they want not exactly a province bu maybe behind aprovinces to move into one that was originally out of range

Go Ukraine!

Paratroopers have changed a lot in recent months. The mobilization times have been cut in half from when this thread was originally created. For a level one paratrooper, the mobilization times are now 6 hours.
