Paratroopers

Paratroopers should be added to the air research. The plane should fly over towards the target, and the paratroopers will be dropped. then the plane will go back and land. Once landed, there are no more troops, so infantry can be put onto the unit, and then the plane will be refilled. One morale for the plane, and one morale for the troops on the plane. This unit could be helpful when flying over enemy troops to attack from behind, or just to avoid having to fight them first.

Landing time for the paratroopers should be 5 minutes. And during that time, enemy troops (Anti-air only) can shoot at the troops, and lower morale. when going to the ground, it will be considered infantry, and the anti-air will be attacking that branch as they fall to the ground.

+25% strength on plains

-25% strength in forest/hills

+25% strength city

Hope this can be incorperated somehow

I like it, but landing time had to be much longer!

--- It is all just about the people! ---

Well, They'd be much more vulnerable when landing, so I thought that they'd have to land quickly so the unit isn't totally useless.

Ay my doods here is some information I found about Paratroopers and Commandos. (PDF Format)

*EDIT* Just copy and paste those links into your search bar and the PDF should pop up. If not, For the USMC Parachute Troops, Look up Silk Chutes and Hard Fighting, Then for Japanese Parachute Troops, look up Japanese Parachute Troops in WW2 PDF. For British Commandos, Look up British Commandos in WW2 PDF, The Japanese and Commandos should be on a website called easy39th Infantry. The USMC Parachute Troops book is on Marines.mil

Let me know if you can access them, if you can't ill just have to go and get the links from the website, I saved those to my chromebook so ye. I am going to get more parachute documents so that you guys can read them and understand what Paratroopers are all about, and what their operations are like.

@JCS Darragh: Hey, I was curious to look at your documents, but when I click on the links I get an error message saying I need to request permission via one of my Gmail accounts.

Oh, Alright, Does it say you need to talk to someone at PCSSD? I'll try to get them to work if they say that.

I heard you had to bring paratroopers back to the capital to get them in transport planes again. can this be changed to any airbase but it takes like 12 hours to a day to make it more realistic.
