Paratroopers... the slowest troops in the game?

Why don't people want to invest time and resources into building paratroopers? Because they probably take too long to Convert from Airplanes to troops. In real life, paratroopers are like the fastest troops ever.

If you guys Half the time it takes to convert from airplane to regular troops, or if you just reduce it somehow (maybe decrease it by 30%?), they may be a Useable unit in the game.

I just checked right now on WaW 100... paratroopers take 6 hours to convert from Airplane to Ground troops and it takes my Heavy Tanks 4.5 hours to Disembark from Ships to Land Troops. How does that even make sense? So my troops storming the beach are faster than my paratroopers? Also, the paratroopers have too small of a range. Their range should be extended at least 10%
