Partisan uprisings, Revolts and Rebel States
Just like in a real war there's always got to be those trouble makers or rebels inside your empire. So I've been thinking about what would happen if there were more to revolts than just changing territory to another country. I've thought about things such as countries that start with colonies and/or captured territories that there should be a revolt risk unless the province morale is kept up. If a province's morale drops low for a while I think that there should be a revolt or partisan uprising that could "liberate" the province back to it's original country.
If that country happens to have already been defeated, then it should come back as an AI player controlling that province. This helps keep all troops off the front lines getting ready to suppress revolts, much like in a real war.
Now for the troops that will be spawning inside of these revolt areas should probably be militia, the number depending on the size of the revolt, but there should also be a possibility that if the revolt is large enough cars could be stolen to create motorized infantry or tanks could be stolen depending on the health of the tanks.
