Petition To Remove the "Resources Reforged" Update

The "Resources Reforged" (err... RUINED!) update has shook up the very fundamentals of Call of War, and was met with overwhelming criticism from the playerbase. Because of the negative effects that this update has on the overall game, I suggest that it be removed. I am starting a petition for everyone who supports the removal of the "Resources Reforged" downgrade to voice their support. If Bytro really cares about their players' opinions, they will take action and remove the update.

Yes would like to go back to the older resources system. This one is flawed in many ways.

It is impossible to judge whether you are just trolling or a totally incompetent player or a genius, without knowing your statistics....

But I doubt the latter, because if you can't understand what it means to have a complete layer of the gameplay removed, while all you can say is what you said, well, ....

Genius? He reminds me of a 12 year old fly-by.

I have been playing for about six months, so I have played before and after the update.

I prefer the new resource system because it simplifies the resource scene (due to having fewer resources) which makes it easier to adjust play due to resource shortages and also easier to find and capture enemy cities that produce a resource you need, now any random city has a 33% chance to be the needed resource, compared with 20% before the update.

Why do you avoid giving your player name or rank and statistics?

Ofc all seasoned players understand that the 'dimwit-class of players' (class description below) do not feel the pain of the dumbification and monetization projects, cleverly dubbed 'upgrades'.

That class of players themselves do not even realize that they are not winning more games because of these 'upgrades' (rather: downgrades).

Definition of the 'Dimwit class':

Players with sometimes even a relative high rank due to hundreds of games played, BUT...

- a victory rate of 1 digit or less,

- K/D below 1

- and loving WBs; some even buying them, bc they can't do without magic.

All this clearly indicating an utter & complete lack of understanding of the game and strategy in general.

A 12-year old who abandons CoW quickly

Like all those inactive players on day 4?

Then they might come back at around day 20 to use their War Bonds...

I mean all of CoW, not just one round

Oh, yeah I don’t think many 12 year olds would be into this game

Flies ruin the game because they take up game spots that could potentially be held by active players.

The only instance I can recall flies being helpful is when they take up the countries that nobody wants in the All In round.

Really? You not getting it?

Let me spell it out...

Part A: 12 yr old => not necessarily a 12 yr old, but a very young player looking for explosions and simple action to quench his ADHD or alike (apparently nowadays 90% of youths between 10 and 25 yrs old suffer from some mental issue, according to our National Health Agency). COW is too complicated, too slow and dull for that type.

Part B: fly-by => player flying in, but not staying and flying away again. Basically someone lured by wrong marketing and not finding what he was looking for OR a 12 yr old with short attention span, coming in and getting bored in 5minutes, so leaves. Thus a player 'flying by' and not staying on.

I am just wondering who I am dealing with that I had to explain that....?

My player name is irrelevant to this discussion, but here is my stat:

pvp:

units killed - 50

units lost - 10

ratio - 5.00

"a victory rate of 1 digit or less," i dont have that

"K/D below 1" i dont have that

"and loving WBs; some even buying them, bc they can't do without magic." i like war bonds but i have never bought them, i do have a high command membership which gives me extra war bonds in my games. and, i was able to win before war bonds were given to me.

Because you can't serve a solid reply?

Bandersnatch just did. Seems OK on that side. That is, if that is 1 game only, than it is ofc not good. That wouldn't say a thing about his overal K/D if that was 1 game. And if it is his overall K/D in 6 months playing....well.... 'nuf said.

But it is something concrete at least.

Now you....

The only ones who wouldn't, are the ones who don't really play the game and they don't spend either.

Note I am open to a different name of the class, as long as it is truthful, but for now I will call it the 'Dimwit-Class'.

These 'Dmwit Class' of players should definitely stay out of discussions of the 'grown-ups' aka 'frequent players' who suffer the consequences of the downgrades. They should realize they have nothing of value to add to the discussion.
