Play as smaller nations

This is something I've always wanted, Imagine conquering the world as Belgium, Bulgaria, or even Switzerland! But really though, I just want this feature for the value it could add to Role Play games. The way I see it could be any Country with at least one city you can play as. Because frankly, no matter how good you are, you'll never win as Saudi Arabia on the 22 player map.

Glory to Dixie Land!

Why?

The past is a foreign country.

Easy meat and a waste of coding.

Not 'easy meat' and not a waste of coding if most of us want it.

The past is a foreign country.

You want it but remember that hoo-ha about Paras, it was predicted you'd beg (Not just you) about it and then whine when it's not what you expected.

When did we whine and beg about paras? They haven't even come out!
The past is a foreign country.

The community established around 5-10 thread about paratroopers. 1 had perhaps borderline arguments over the jumping jacks. I am aware they haven't been released and I'll know when they are almost ready for release *Cough* FP *Cough* We did predict that Paras wouldn't be able to perform the tasks some fresher players would expect them to and then take to the forum in arms.

You did, yeah. But we still don't know if they will or if they won't.
The past is a foreign country.

Not just me.

Ok, but you're missing the point.

The past is a foreign country.

Which is?

Isn't that why we have a forum in the first place? To suggest improvements?

No.
The Democratic Republic of Afghanistan(DRA) was founded in 1978 through a coup d'etat. Certain Muslim factions rebelled against the new government, and per the DRA's request the Soviet army deployed forces to the area.
Even now, in 1984, the Soviet's 40th Army and the self-proclaimed "Mujahideen" are still engaged in bitter conflict.

Why do we have a forum then?

To complain.

Are 'suggestions' and 'complaints' really all that different?

The forum is for what the categories tell you, and I never said they weren't for suggesting ideas, read the whole thing not just what you choose. I said people will expect Paras to perform unrealistic tasks and when it doesn't do that you'll get those few who want to chew the ear off Bytro's dev team.
