Yes, if you have any doubt about the legality of the name, just don’t use it.

The list is a living document as players constantly seem to find dictators and war criminals that are not on the list but still meet the criteria for banishment. Posting a list would just add confusion, so if you have a question just ask a mod or Smod to check it. There were over 6,500 convictions just in Germany so you can see how this could be hard to post and keep updated.

but what about people who did the same crimes as dictators?

It was always simple. If a person or organization was convicted at the Nuremburg trials, then that person or organization is prohibited.

Likewise, if an individual was convicted of a war crime or act of extreme violence in some other court of law, then that person would be prohibited as well.

The only reason I responded to this is because it always amazed me just how many players wanted to name themselves after some of the worlds most brutal and unsavory characters. It just was so crazy to me.
