I agree. I understand issues with trolls, but it would be such a big thing that Iโd enjoy. How about a predetermined set of names, which each country can have? It would be labor intensive to add it all, but if you could find some way to do it, at least on the most played maps, it would be so cool!
Please make us able to change national names
We were already able to change the national flag, and it would make my roleplaying a lot more entertaining and immersive if we were able to change our nation's name. Since this might confuse people about who you really are, it might be a good idea to make the nation name something like customized name(original name). For example, if I want to change the name of Greece to Byzantine Empire, my name would display as "Byzantine empire(Greece)". This should be a really easy update, and I would love it if you guys could adopt my suggestion!

I've replied to this suggestion many times, and I will say again, no.
This should be added to the game for sure! Such an amazing idea for RP's.
Why not? simply create a certain set of names your nation can pick rather than free choice and it will prevent trolls. And as Iโve mentioned before, you can change leader names and flags, and while Iโve seen a good amount of dumb shit, most of the time it works out.Claudio NVKP wrote:

Thatโs an even more impractical suggestion.Carking the 6th wrote:

mayor every country could have a selection of names to choose from
Then free choice. Country names arenโt any different from flags and leader names, how is this any worse?Claudio NVKP wrote:
