I forget how the military score is calculated(its been a while since I checked), but naming unit divisions is not a bad idea.
possible improvements
some quick ideas are... in game power score should be calculated with amount of land, size/strength of military and economic strength. units with 20+ units should be nameable( keep it clean) to help with troop organization and attack coordination.

I'd love to name divisions, but as I've seen on Supremacy 1914 (CoW sister game) people abuse the functions of personalisation way too much.

That is always bound to happen. Its not a bad idea for the future(not something necessary right away).TankBuster wrote:

for the naming, they could keep it simple with 1st 2nd like they have now but not having the 103rd army when i only have 7 standing armies. an army to me has 20+ men. but maybe armies over 50 units could be customized like Iron Fist tank army. at the least they should add an ingame tab/button for military units( like espionage and provinces).
I think a combined number/name would work, but its something which the community needs to show its grown up enough to have.

Quasi thinks the community is grown up enough. Now, where are my wooden building blocks...?

This is what i do. I play the world map and love it. But i have have so many men i don't know that do about it. So when my ally and are are working to something we name things. So as an example i have the South American Corps and the South American Defence team. This is just to keep things in order. I think on top of naming 20+ units some thing we should also allow "Fronts" During WW2 the Russians used "Fronts" this could be tank or infantry or even guns. So an example my South American Corps could be 100+ but not in one big group, and instead a bunch of smaller units with only a few 20+.
And when you split a 20+ as long as it was part a name corp or group it will keep it name unless it is 10 or less.
Like in HoI III? Quasi would love STAVKA.mrgreeen4567 wrote:

I recently started a new 100 player game and i have 3 subs but they are the 2nd 6th and 8th and the 6th is brand new so it should have a higher number than the others. also on the same game 3 fighters the 10th 11th and 14th. its like navy and air units are numbered in order with land units. ie, infantry 1st army, sub 2nd army
