For maps like the 100 player world at war, a new maps starts when the others have filled.

Que for New Game / Timer for new map opening.
I find the process of trying to join a new game frustrating. I want to be able to join a new map as early as possible and at the moment there is no easy way to do that.
Can we please implement a better way to notify or show players when fresh map is going to be created. EG: New World of War map spawns every 2hrs or the New Game spawning in is greyed out but has a timer ontop of it to show how long until the game will open to join.

They do indeed but it takes ages. (Most likely because, understandably, people are unwilling to join a nearly-full map that almost certainly has no good countries left.)
A specific way I'd suggest they implement this is making it easier to filter by game type. There's probably a way to do this that I just haven't found yet, but it would seem not to be very intuitive.

Yes you can filter by game type
