Radiation

Hey!

Today, I did my first attack with a nuclear bomb. Really i love it. My suggestion is add radiaton to the game.

Q: What's radiation?

A: This is a negative effect in the zone of the blast of a nuclear bomb.

Q: What does this negative effect?

A: This negative effect does than the territory never will have poblation(0 production) or units. If an unit join in the territory, the unit will die little by little.

Q: This is possible of see in the map?

A: Yes, a special effect for the territory and an icon would be enough.

That is the airburst, heat, and gamma rays, none of which leave residual radiation.

Correct.

"I came, I saw, I conquered" Written in a report to Rome 47 B.C., after conquering Pharnaces at Zela in Asia Minor in just five days; as quoted in Life of Caesar by Plutarch; reported to have been inscribed on one of the decorated wagons in the Pontic triumph, in Lives of the Twelve Caesars, Julius, by Suetonius.
"Alea iacta est" Gaius Julius Caesar.

I have perhaps confused.

Not confused, just poor wording.

Exactly, only people exposed to the bomb and descendants of them will have problems, usually very few. There is little to no chance of an invader from Algeria getting radiation poisoning because he walked through London after it was nuked.
no there is..

during the fallout, for about a month you cant walk about..

afterwards I would say they are okay... to walk..

but just you cant just stroll around nuke site after it went boom..

will get radiation poisoning

Are you kidding me? The sources you gave highlighted the fact that only people present at the blast, as the bomb went bomb, suffered from ill health as a result.

that was on long term effects..

I give you stuff on fallout..

Questioner: Are you in favour of democracy?

European, American etc.: Yes!

Q: Why?

Quite true, my friend. There's this video of a guy going round Spain, asking people easy questions about politics, and you get the most retarded asnwers you can imagine. From people who can vote. An example:

Q: What's communism?

A: *pauses and thinks for at least 30 secs* Isn't that what Franco and Hitler did?

Damn, even I could answer that: the Light in a world of Darkness, duh.

Nuclear weapons release a very large burst of energy in the form of a blast meaning the radiation effects while severe for the first few weeks rapidly drop to safe levels. Nuclear reactors do not release large amounts of energy all at once because that would be very very bad. Instead they release more in the form of radiation. So when retards like the Chernobly nuclear plant operators mess around with the reactor there was an explosion but obviously not a powerful enough one to level a city instead the energy was released in the form of radiation. That is why it is not habitable because the initial energy was low but lasts a great deal of time.

I do not know if this was covered in the above posts as I stopped reading after the first page but Quasi is correct and a nuclear war would not be as severe as it is made out to be. Quite severe yes, but the majority of deaths would occur not from the blast or the fallout but people running out of food and potable water as they would have to have enough to stay in their basement(assuming they dont have acess to a fallout shelter or a building that can double as one with adequate food stocks) for many many months because farms would be ruined and the soil would have to be relaced or cleaned with sunflowers etc. etc. etc. they would not die from the blast itself however

Every nuke bomb use radiation for the fission, if somebody don't trust that, look in Google.

Tsar bomb is a little exception.

Yes, there are different atomic bombs, in addition, the Tsar bomb does not have to be in the game.

I only said Tsar for add an exception. Every nuke use radiation(every type).
