Radioactive Units

I suggest that any units that stay in fallout areas for a specified amount of time (3 hours, 6 hours, etc) will turn into radioactive units. Similar to how animals near the Hiro-Naga blasts and the Chernobyl disaster. Characteristics of radioactive units would include:

  • The unit skin would turn into a different doctrine (but still belong to the same country)
  • The units attack and defense values would be doubled/tripled, and their HP would be cut in half/thirds.

While this probably won’t happen, this is a creative as hell idea. If they ever somehow decide to add modding…

changing doctrine? that would be quite complicated, but the 2nd suggestion sounds very cool

Good idea? Yes.

Any chance that Bytro will do it? No.

@freezy

I must apologise for awaking you from your noble slumber, but please do observe this, this idea, this brainchild, that shall surely improve the game in some sort of noble capacity.

Very weird idea, radiation should kill units, not turn them into a megabeast.

So being nuked suddenly becomes a... good thing?

I love nuke

I also like nukes. The radiation update surely makes a difference now. Before it was nuke and take now it's nuke and wait.

Yeah that is super weird. The idea sounds like some fantasy.

The whole radioactive units/slash mutant units is a very creative idea but for a post apocalyptic theme game not really for Call of War this is too realistic for "things"...

Second bullet is great idea. We need that NOW.

I mean, the idea is neat for some special game mode where you have to fight against radioactive mutants :D But I guess it would not fit into our standard modes.

Doomsday maybe?

It will become unplayable. I also suck at doomsday, thanks to doomsday for bringing my kd from 1.9 to 1.4.

They should have killed doomsday, not 1944 endgame…

Having all the units could be quite fun though.
