Well, imho, it's not so much of a change to Elite AI, and I don't think people would be willing to give their gold away for it.
Realistic mode
Ok, so while I was writing about Battle-cruisers another idea popped into my head, an idea that I'm alot of us may have thought about.
Call Of War has a great tech tree system, everything upgrades all at once, meaning no odd levelled units.
As an extension to the 'Elite AI' gold round option, I'd like to include that and another feature under a new name: "Realistic mode'
This would feature the elite AI, but also some other goodies.
- The same research times used on the world map
- Elite AI buy and sell on the stock market
- AI will also place spies at random
- Tech doesn't auto-level, meaning odd levels will happen: so you can either put units in reserve, or sell them off.
- EXP bonus due to harsher difficulties
- nuclear weapons have a longer lasting effect
- AI will attempt trade, share map and units for actual ingame resources: not saying it will be cheap, but it would be there.

what about simulator mode where almost every thing is like in the real world. Example planes when sent on patrol would patrol til they ran out of fuel of ammo, and you have to make ammo and send fuel ammo and food to your troop and if they get cut of they will surrender if their moral runs to low.
Normal AI already do it, so where will be the point?TankBuster wrote:

To who will you sell them?TankBuster wrote:

i don't see why not, maybe it would be better as an option for the game creator(but while world maps can't created by players...)TankBuster wrote:

Why would you accept them if you can buy it cheaper in the stock market?TankBuster wrote:

Back to the second option, if he wants to AI put more offers in the stock market, why would the AI trade it if it can sell it in the stock market?Quasi-duck wrote:

Because during the S1914 days, you got random trades from AI during games

And I did say it would the Elite AI + other features. So I was listing features already used.... but I understand that may have been overlooked
