Refuelling Time Is Too Standard

Why is it that when planes travel very short distances, the refuelling time is always the same as the time taken for a long-distance flight? It is always a fixed amount of time and it is very annoying because, in reality, planes don't always have to refill a fixed amount of fuel each time.

I suggest that if planes go a certain distance the maximum time allocated to the landing airstrip should be used. For instance, if a plane goes a certain distance or more to a lvl 2 airstrip, it should then, and only then, take 20 minutes. If planes go less than that distance, the total percentage that the flown distance covers the "maximum refuelling" distance should be used on the refuelling time on the landing airstrip to calculate the approximate amount of time to refuel. :D ?(

That explanation was definitely confusing so let me give an example:

Let's say the distance to allow the max refuelling time is 100 points

Let's also say that a plane wants to travel to a lvl 2 airstrip within 50 points of it

(50/100) * 100 = 50

That means that we need to calculate 50% of the lvl 2 airstip time, which is 20 minutes

And 50% of 20 mins is 10 mins so the plane will spend 10 mins refuelling!

I don't know what code the game runs on but I know this very doable in any programming language.

(Also, I'm not getting the amount of time it takes for my planes or rockets to attack or bombard. I don't know if it is my device, a general bug or you guys haven't just added it. :wallbash )

According to your suggestion the plane then needs to be fixed to refuel faster not the airstrip.(similar as the transport ship thread suggestions where they want higher level transport ships to embark/disembark faster but you need an upgraded Port for that not an upgraded ship)

I understand what you saying about planes flying short distance but still needs to refuel for half an hour.

What you asking is that airstrips should not have levels but refuel with time according to distances?

I still want airstrips to have levels but the amount of time it takes to refuel should be dependent on 2 factors:

-The level of the airstrip

-The distance travelled

The percentages in the calculations in each factor should be the same because of how the distance percentage works with the default time set for each level.
