I think it’s time the game needs to remove k/d and other stats from profiles.
Like most players, I love to have good stats and actually I do - I have a k/d against players of around 3.55 - which is higher than most people I play with. I beat most players and win most of my games now. - I love a good stat.
However lately, stats are becoming toxic. Most games I join now are full of “new accounts” levels from 11-60. They are either multi accounts people are using to supply themselves with resources or play two accounts at the same time - reporting has almost no effect as the support team isn’t fast enough with the bans, and even then it doesn’t stop the immediate advantage of sending starting resources to their alt account.
Secondly, people are literally “boosting” their stats by killing their alts to boost their stats. It makes hard earned stats like mine almost worthless.
Thirdly, players are literally creating new accounts all over the place just to ensure they have good stats from the get go, or are creating new accounts as “test accounts” to test strategies on these alts so their main k/d isn’t ruined.
All in all, it’s becoming crazy and annoying. As a speed player, this is a particularly big problem on speed maps.
Suggestions:
1. New accounts can only play the basic Europe nations map and basic world at war until level 80 minimum (rather than level 11)
2. Especially enforced minimum level 80 for speed maps.
3. no trading of resources until day 7, same as provinces
4. Remove k/d
Why level 80?
You never see alt accounts at level 80 - people get bored of them before they get that high so generally if the account is level 80, it’s probably a real player/main account.
Why stop resource trading? Ultimately, nobody “needs” resource trading so early, and it stops people just joining with a multi, sending over all their resources, then killing it off before anyone notices/can ban.
Why remove k/d?
It stops the toxic nature of people protecting it by spamming accounts and makes people focus on enjoying the game.

Not a bad idea, although I rely on K/D ratio to pick teammates along with how active they are in the current game. Point taken on how it can be manipulated. Maybe I've been lucky...have not noticed this happening in my games, or I haven't been paying attention...lol
The real issue is how the game has changed over the last couple years as P2W. The resources early game are very low, forcing players to use gold/boosters/purple gold in order to keep up. This is no accident, it's designed to get players to spend money. The multi acct activity is a result of very low early game resources and those who don't want to pay $$$, so they create cheater accounts so they can feed resources to their main country.

I disagree though that resources are low early game. I don’t have an issue.
The issue is people can’t do basic maths, or just don’t know how to play - you see people spamming industries without realising the cost of those levels of industry is going to use more resource than they will ever help produce, hampering your early game efforts. I build food to level 3, but other than that don’t bother with industries… suddenly resources are plentiful again - ironic isn’t it
Yeah - people do use it for picking teammates, but tbh that’s another issue for me. You start the map, you pick the top 4 other k/d, agree to ally, and the map is over before it starts. In some ways it would be fairer to newer players / beginners if actually teammates were more evenly spread

Its a game not a challenge. So just ignore the K/D ratio and have fun

I gotta be real honest with you, Never have I seen this as an issue even if I ignored troop production for a day or two. You usually only need to make two production lines, for like tanks, infantry, or whatever you want. But then the other 3 cities you choose should be invested in immediately and heavily when you get any resource win. (Also using your Warbonds to finish production earlier than everyone else if you must get that tiny advantage)
If you put all your eggs into production early on while being light on production, not forcing your units to death. You won’t struggle with upkeep before your industrial production offsets it

I think all games should be played on anonymous mode.
