Just accept it, change your relation with them back to peace, and them stab them, so they learn not to send it without actually establishing an alliance beforehand.

Anyone have any takes on the share map features? Currently seems an unrealistic dumbed down simplification of alliances that disrupts long-term strategy. As players rarely weigh up the options and decide to immediately send you this option (going both ways) that pressures you into an immediate unofficial alliance. This comes off as a bit too conclusive since rejection, from my experience of 'hey can we do right of way instead', leads to the quick break down of relationships
. All I'm saying is that players shouldn't so easily be able to achieve certainty in such unstable times.
