females need representation as well, although it a ww2 game, women should feel included as well. I mean u dont want to get on their bad side/ trust me... @Asylanic | There should be at least a pronoun picker, so instead of seeing he and possibly assuming ones gender, you wont have to.

As an actual woman who plays this game, I have to say I really don't give that much of a damn; it's trying to be at least somewhat historically accurate, and the vast majority of significant people involved in WWII were male, so it makes sense for the newspaper to use male pronouns, and using they/them pronouns would be jarring.
I do have to say it's slightly more jarring every time I see 'War Declared! Leader Z has made it clear that Lady Aragosta and his troops have to expect, et cetera' in the newspaper. Makes it sound like a bizarre reversed case of She Is The King. But that's partly on me for having the username I do, in the full knowledge that things like that would happen.
Also one could argue that the abundance of out-of-place-looking usernames undermine the validity of my argument to keep things the way they are.
As for that dude who keeps on insisting that feminism is bad* (I assume that's a dude, since I find it hard to believe a woman would taking that position), I agree with Carking there; even ignoring the other arguments, it might be worth adding it anyway just to annoy people like that.
Bottom line (I've managed to confuse even myself as to what I think about this change
I won't care if Bytro completely ignores this suggestion, but nor would I have any problems supporting it if they showed signs of considering it.
*I had a full essay on this subject prepared but decided the forum didn't need to see that. Suffice to say I disagree with that sentiment.
