Research

I noticed that as the game progresses whenever I check in and click on the research tab and notice a free slot I have a hard time remembering what was it that I research before and where do I go next, it would be greatly beneficial if we had a cue as to what was just done, like "your level 3 DD research is complete" or somesuch message.
