Research Radar!
I thought of an idea. A radar building, as in WW2, Britain used it in the Battle of Britain, which helped them out a lot.
This radar building( must be researched) would tiers, and those tiers would improve the range of it.
The reason is that it could detect incoming troops from far away without having to patrol every area.
The benefits of it is that you wouldn't have to risk unfriendly relations by patrolling using aircraft.
The top tier building would have a maximum range of maybe between a level 7 tactical bomber's attack range and a strategic bomber's maximum range, and it would have a recharge of about 2-4 hours between cycles of radar so it wouldn't be to overpowered, to give attackers the ability to keep attacking with stealth.
This building should be able to be researched around day 18-24., with max tier research at day 40.
Suggestions can be left below about this, feel free to comment on it.

I agree with Quasi on this one. Nuclear ships were not meant to be good on their own. They are the capital ships of your fleet, and that's why they need a massive number of support vessels - to protect them. It would make no sense to make them undetectable, but it does raise a point: nuclear ships have to be buffed, because no one seems to be using them at the moment.Quasi-duck wrote:
Why? If anything those are easiest to detect because they're so big.
Well they're a bit useless now because we have CVN with TB on them. It's their role which is the problem, not their strength.Pablo22510 wrote:

I'm sorry, but I've been away for a while. How do the TBs on CVNs render them useless?Quasi-duck wrote:

Air support from tactical bombers on nuclear carriers is better than a naval barrage.Pablo22510 wrote:

What about also after researching max radar level cruisers, battleships, and aircraft carriers get a mini radar of their own?
That would be more realistic than adding paratroopers
Maybe develop ship radar independently?xXCooksterXx wrote:

It would need to be good but not overpowered. It would maybe run on a mix of oil and rare materials, or something like that. the ships and planes and don't detect land,,,
I'm with you in it

And there a reason why we need to drop the MIC
Actually this a good time to say
You need to see my pool

I will bring up one of my rejected proposals, the flying wing. If the radar is implemented, we will need a way around it, like a stealth aircraft. In late WWII Germany was developing flying wing fighters and one of the Amerika Bombers was a flying wing, and after WWII the US also tested these types (I know I said "after", but this game has a what if style, a.k.a. nukes). When these aircraft were tested they dropped off the radar, and the secret to stealth flight was (accidentally) discovered.
You can just wait and see if they are inactive or just use ground units to capture said province and use the radar against that personinjinji wrote:

Don't really need it tbh, it's not like the radar does anything other than detect units. For most of WWII and a good while afterwards it didn't matter enough to make stealth aircraft and nowadays the US are the only ones that operate many stealth aircraft.injinji wrote:

The US was the only country to use nukes in battle, yet all countries have them. And many countries operate stealth aircraft (exported F-35s and Typhoons).Quasi-duck wrote:

Not WWII though.injinji wrote:

I guess by taking that out of context we can confirm that Israel and iran have nukes, I guessinjinji wrote:

Sadly (ok not for Israel, I trust them) yes, and North Korea.xXCooksterXx wrote:

Nope, but they might have if the war lasted to 1946. Countries also might have had nuke rockets in 1946, and those are in the game, and only a few countries have nuke carriers today, yet they are available in game. Also the nuke battleship never existed.Quasi-duck wrote:
