Research Radar!
I thought of an idea. A radar building, as in WW2, Britain used it in the Battle of Britain, which helped them out a lot.
This radar building( must be researched) would tiers, and those tiers would improve the range of it.
The reason is that it could detect incoming troops from far away without having to patrol every area.
The benefits of it is that you wouldn't have to risk unfriendly relations by patrolling using aircraft.
The top tier building would have a maximum range of maybe between a level 7 tactical bomber's attack range and a strategic bomber's maximum range, and it would have a recharge of about 2-4 hours between cycles of radar so it wouldn't be to overpowered, to give attackers the ability to keep attacking with stealth.
This building should be able to be researched around day 18-24., with max tier research at day 40.
Suggestions can be left below about this, feel free to comment on it.

I agree with @Quasi-duck. You're thinking too deep. Radar detects units; it doesn't shoot them down. You need fighters for that. Furthermore, people don't even use secret units anymore. It would be a useless addition that no one would use.
I try to get railroad guns as fast as I can, and compared to most other players I spam them.Pablo22510 wrote:

That's one unit out of more than 7.injinji wrote:

I also use rockets, rocket fighters (home defense), commandos, nuke bombers and rockets, and nuke carriers (usually only one per game).Pablo22510 wrote:

I guess you're special, then...injinji wrote:

Or maybe you're just an old dog who can't learn new tricksPablo22510 wrote:

Ohhhh snap!
Hey! Or maybe I've played enough to realize that the units are useless.Quasi-duck wrote:

You just can't use them lol.Pablo22510 wrote:

Yeah, I guess you're right, I really can't do much with the power to level (understatement) cities.Pablo22510 wrote:

It's not that I can't use them, it's that I feel that the effort you have to put in to get a couple of any secret units isn't worth it compared to the results that you get (except nukes). Give me LTs and TBs any day,Quasi-duck wrote:

I use nukes, but I'll take a stack of light tanks and tactical bombers over a couple of nukes any day.injinji wrote:

I only used nuclear carriers once, and they are worth the wait/resources/wait.
Back to topic, the radar could be researched and just like the rocket tree, it could have a branch off for ship radar.

That's kind of an understatement.Quasi-duck wrote:

Adding on, nuclear ships should have better radar to give them a reason to research them.xXCooksterXx wrote:

Also, it would take a level 3 naval yard for radars to be added to ships with a 4 hour wait time for adding the radar. Newly constructed ships wouldn't have to wait for the add on.
