That's right. We lost CoW 1.0 and now Bytro remove canvans graphic. They want destroy this game completely.

I would like to provide the following critical feedback: Since the removal of the canvas interface, multiple players have had severe difficulty running and playing the game. We have followed the moderators recommendations to switch to low graphics, reset our cache and try playing on another browser, and these have not resolved the issue.
We understand that the developers have put a lot of work and effort into the Webgl version of the interface, however we find this interface unusable. We cannot play the game. If we were given any notice of Canvas being removed we would have play tested the newer interface and voiced our concerns.
We were not given that option.
This had left many of us unable to continue playing games that we were enjoying. We feel that some comments left by moderators and developers are unhelpful (one might even say gaslighting).
In short we feel let down. For cooperation to be effective both sides have to listen and cooperate. So far no moderator or developer has even entertained the idea of restoring canvas or given us an option other than "You'll get used to it".
Please, listen to your userbase. Your customers.
Yes I think any moderator is not finding solutions.
The customers have been telling that it doesn´t work but you haven´t told us we are working in it.

I reckon that DR is lying that Canvas caused a glitch. They probbably removed it just like freezy removed 1.0 out of personal prefrence.

Bro 1.0 wasn't even that good in the first place. For example, France has a massive food shortage in historical world war, which is not even realistic compared to France in actual World War II. I can list many other problems, but I'm not going to. I believe that 1.5 definitely had some drawbacks, but I liked it in general. It added doctrines, upgrading, more stealth units, attack bombers, rocket artillery, etc. Plus maintaing two versions of the same game is not an easy task. Byto Labs isn't the large gaming company. I doubt they lied, just think about it, Canvas has been in service for many many years. If there was a massive bug, I wouldn't even be surprised.

Not necessarily. You only like canvas more because your more adapted to it. If you had been playing the new graphics the entire time you would be unhappy if they added Canvas. Its a matter of adaptation rather than, which is better. Many players won't like a certain feature just because they aren't really used to it. There's always this one update in every game that will cause people to go crazy. I mean I can see what your talking about, it can be hard to get used to at the beginning. To be honest many people quit Call of War 1.5 because they weren't really used to the new mechanics. However, those who stayed discovered that Call of War 1.5 wasn't nearly as bad as they thought. I honestly thought Call of War was done when they added 1.5. I ended up quitting for several months. I thought the update was bad because it was totally revamped and unfamiliar to me. Later, I decided to try out one Call of War 1.5 match, and I enjoyed it a lot. It ended up being a pretty good update despite some drawbacks.
mate i played on WebGL fpr 3 months. I didnt like it asked a player if there was another option and canvas came up. So it has nothing to do with being used. Also i am leaving and wont come back thats final

I dont think bytro realises were fighting for them. There are always other games its not like call of war is the only option.
But we are trying to get it back not just for us but to save call of war

I'm sorry doctor, but after two days, this comment is actually the most stupid remark in this whole unsavory affair. It is perfectly clear that Bytro does NOT; if they did, they would find some sort of solution for the dozens of people complaining (and the hundreds or thousands of people silently leaving - but those figures are classified, of course). As a gentle reminder, shoving down throats is generally not considered to be a sign of great care.

We encourage people from other countries to create similar lists as we Poles "for restoring the old graphics". People are encouraged to make a list of protesting players, if someone fails to do so, a game like Call of war will simply fail. the current graphic changes put people into a state of epilepsy ... there's a setting to turn the graphics to canvas or am i wrong
adding the old graphics feature to this version is much simpler and less data consuming
