So I'm trying to remember what solid fuel rocket interceptors were the allies working on during WWII but I cant quite find one, ah yes that's because there were none only the axis had them so what gives? Were having nonexistent units on the list, I mean there must be stuff the allies were working on that the other side did not develop.

there were some rocket fighters by the allies but not to the same extent as the germans. They need them to stop B-17 bombing germany, the other nations really didn't need them. However it would be unfair to not give the other nation rocket fighters.
A Grumman TBF torpedo bomber taking off with the aid of 330 horsepower jet-assisted unit in about half the normal run.
and as for the russians to didn't really need them but still made them

I'm trying to find when the Germans used panzer regiments made up of Maus tanks? Oh thats right, it never bloody got finished!
I'm trying to think of when the Germans had a nuclear battleship- I guess that damn H Plan got finished in secret!
Also, I'm really racking my head trying to think of when the Soviet union fielded the Kirov II-Class missile cruiser during the second world war- guess I just need to do more research on the topic.
Now, this game used experimental weapons and units neither side managed to field in great amounts, this due to the how development of weapons was between the Allied and Axis powers. You can be assured such weapon existed, however few would have seen combat. The devs try to make do with what they can, stop picking the game apart.

Its not my intention to pick this game apart if I did not like it I would not waste my time on these forums, I would like to see some variation, instead of having same weapon systems for everybody having unique units for different factions would make it more enjoyable to try different sides. It probably requires a little more testing and balancing.

Weird way of presenting it then, OP. Suggest varied units and such outright, not what you did cynically and non-constructively

Besides the point though, I am down for faction-specific units, but keep in mind that this is a simulation of history that can be taken any direction. You could end up fielding swathes of rocket interceptors as Turkey even, if that's the way the cookie crumbles. So it is not really wrong it being the way it is, as this just sets a context and you are free to interpret it as the situation moves one

The idea is terrible then. Some countries would absolutely suck.

Not really since we don't have to stick to "real" historical units as so many pointed out you could find specific unique units and I do not suggest that all units are different just a few. s.a rocket fighters for axis, maybe Katusha arti for soviets and so on, idea is not to make one side weaker just different, and I apologize if my tone sounded cynical to some of you.

Ehm, no. The Germans used it an awful lot and I believe the others had landing craft with rockets and stuff like the Sherman Calliope.

Don't forget the rockets they would stick on planes for ground assault and the Natter.

I believe the RAF Hurricane used rockets during its final few variations.

A hurribomber was created to make use of the obsolete fighter aircraft. They were then shipped to the Soviet Union once the RAF had the Typhoon fighter bomber ready.

I think some of the carrier aircraft like the Firefly could mount rockets.

Any attack aircraft with sufficient hardpoints could mount rockets.

I seem to be a bit late to the fun here.
I see this game as an alternate history game. If this game followed history in every way that wouldn't be fun. The axis didn't win ww2, but this game gives you that opportunity. Using the same logic it is necessary to offer the players the opportunity to experiment with technology that was possible at that time period, but was not used.
