Today I invaded Europe from the UK with over 50 lvl 3 medium tanks. Not a single unit made it to the shores and the enemy didn't take a single casualty.
Previously the player had shared their map with me, they had something like 5 rockets within range of my attack force; it would have taken around 60 rockets (at the current level) to destroy all those tanks plus escorting infantry, AT, and AA guns.
What I am saying is that it was "IMPOSSIBLE" for the enemy to counter me the way he did, but yet he did.
Two things need to be done about this:
1) Rockets need to be nerfed HEAVILY against ground units
2) Gold spending limits for a game?
Frankly, this is a total game breaking dynamic and i don't see myself playing anymore bc it is just a cheesy bullsh** way to play and win. Make rockets used for what they were originally used, strategic destruction.
They should still do damage to units but this is ruining the game for me. Anyone else feel like rockets are doing waaaaay too much damage?

The rockets are designed to cause damage to infrastructures.

There are several suggestions on this. At the moment, there is no limit of gold.

The rockets are designed to cause damage to infrastructures. The rockets are perfect units to attack cities.

So why did I just lose a small army to Rockets if they are being designed to be used against cities?
Just completely obliterated and enemy takes no casualties.... Makes attack totally and completely impossible.... Its really really stupid and totally ruins the game

If you have units in the city, they will be damaged.

Units were not in cities, were attempting to invade across the English Channel. Units never even arrived at the cities and enemy took 4300 casualties while I took 72K.
Does this sound like the intended use for rockets?

It sounds like a extremely bad attempt of an invasion. On the side that army of medium tanks alone is very wierd, you don't mention having ships or submarins for escort. Do you know that your medium tanks while going over sea (being convoys), have only 5 HP each? Few rockets could do a lot of damage if they hit them. I don't know if you were online while they were being destroyed, but if not, how do you know if they were not destroyed by enemy submarines?

You repeated it three times, no need for doing it again. But I am not sure why you quoted me, since what your wrote has no connection to what I wrote.

Perhaps they were submarines!

nope, newspaper told me they were destroyed by rocket batteries, all of them.
They were not only medium tanks, and they were spread over 6-7 provinces. Everything was wiped out.
And yes i had massive naval escort of 15+ battleships (lvl4)

when units, are in convoys at sea.. usually have less HP..
So the rockets would do more damage..

At first I thought somebody 'beach defended' against you, but if you say that the newspaper said rockets...
well, didnt know they were so good against trannies.
So...
1: He used gold to spam a massive amount of rockets
2: combination of beach defense and rockets
3:....beach defense BY rockets? :O

What I believe happened is he saw you landing, and raced some units down to the shore and shot your guys to pieces. When you are landing, men on the shore can shoot at you without being shot back at. It makes landings harder than just racing a couple guys ashore. You need battleships and cruisers there as well.

The rockets might have done some damage, but he probably had land units and aircraft as well. Especially if he had Naval Bombers, that would have packed a punch.

just ignore Maximilien he seems clueless , and probably defend the game no matter what
probably he hit your tanks when they tried to disembark with lvl3+ rocked , there 1 rocket can kill 4+ tanks easily
you should have split your army up and try to secure a bridgehead first

That's not very nice at all.
