Rounds with "Downtime"

It's impossible to be at your game 24/7. So, I think it would be a good idea if they put scheduled "downtime" in games where nobody is able to do anything. It's as if the game just "pauses" for a while.

Bad idea, bad idea. 0/10, unnoble.

This would be badly abused, how about getting this 'downtime' just as you are gonna attack someone?

It would be pre-planned, so everyone would know when the downtime would happen. It wouldn’t be a surprise.

This has also been a popular request. The trouble with it is that lives are so different. and it would be so hard to agree on what the "off" times would be.

Meeeh, always the same arguments on an issue which could be handled very simple:

in addition to traditional existing games - Bytro could announce games in the game list with different playing and pausing times. Nothing will change the traditional games, there are just more opportunities for players. From a medical point of view, it is absolutely unhealthy to interrupt sleep-wake-cycle or to gain sleep deprivation for some days.But....introducing games with pre scheduled interruptions (e.g. game is announced as pausing from 10 pm to 6 pm) will not occure, because pausing the game means pausing "investment" from players. Rant over.

You have to think about different timezones as well. I think this would be a great Idea, but it should only be for games where the players are in the same timezone.

That's the key timezones. I think if we played in the same timezone, they could be waiting a long time for people to start !
