Rss Reduction Backlash

To claim that eliminating two entire resources from the five currently utilized in the game somehow adds complexity is an insult to the intelligence of your player base. In reality, reducing available resources **simplifies** the game, rather than adding any meaningful strategic depth.

First, the announcement misleadingly states that Goods and Rare Materials are acquired through conquering provinces, as if this is the only method by which they are obtained. This demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of the game's mechanics. These resources are primarily provided at the beginning of the game and through advancement of starting cities. And like all other resources are also acquired through conquest. Saying that their removal increases competition and complexity ignores this key aspect of resource management and existing strategies, effectively stripping away choices that add richness to the gameplay currently. I have often tried to utilize strategies that take advantage of early game low cost rares, seen their heavy purchases as clear indication of someone researching nukes, and also utilized spies to hamper specific production and even teamed up with played to control the market on a resource there are myriad other resource related strategies to claim this is a way to improve

That aspect of the game without concrete examples is just more bs.

Furthermore, this announcement comes across as a **pathetic attempt to obscure the true goal** of these changes. Whether the intention is to simplify game mechanics for easier monetization or something else, the community sees through the deception, and such decisions forced on players without adequate explanation will only breed resentment. It feels as though the person responsible for this announcement either **doesn’t understand the game** or is choosing to misrepresent the changes for reasons beyond gameplay improvement.

If Bytro needs to increase revenue to keep the game running, just be honest. Players would appreciate transparency over misdirection. And if this is simply an attempt to inject novelty, consider implementing it in a separate, experimental game format rather than **overhauling the entire system**, which risks alienating the loyal community that enjoys the current strategic complexity.

I agree with you, the game needs to be more complicated.

So, I have decided to form a group to get this goal done.

The Improvement Party.

Basically, if we want this game to be better we need to unite so bytro can hear our voices.

United we stand, divided we fall.

Do YOU want COW to be more complex and tactical? Are YOU tired of updates that just add another P2W aspect of the game? Are you TIRED of the AUTHORITARIAN Mafga?
Then YOU should VOTE the Improvement Party, which seeks to 'Improve' Call of War, and promote FREE and FAIR elections.
VOTE for the Improvement Party! VOTE for a better future!

Agreed. This is a stupid update to a great game.

would you be interested in joining it?
